FLORA OF ICELAND elements: Myosotis scorpioides, Water Forget-me-not

Myosotis scorpioides; The Water Forget-me-not is an introduced species on Iceland. It differs from all other "Icelandic" forget-me-nots in the absence of spreading hairs on the calyx and the larger flowers. Unlike the other forget-me-nots, this species grows on wet soils.
Myosotis species i.e. Forget-me-nots are members of the Borage family (Boraginaceae). The Icelandic name of this species is Engjamunablóm.
