FLORA OF ICELAND elements: Barbarea vulgaris, Wintercress, Garðableikja

Barbarea vulgaris; The Wintercress is an introduced weedy species. It is very similar to the Small-flowered Winter-cress (See descripton on the page of  Barbarea stricta).
It differs in the less stem-appressed fruits. Although pointing upwards, the fruits stand outwards from the stem
Like the more on Iceland common Small-flowered Winter-cress, the Wintercress is a weedy species growing on disturbed soils. Next to the name Wintercress, it has a lot of other English names: herb barbara, rocketcress, yellow rocketcress, winter rocket, yellow rocket, and wound rocket (source:  Wikipedia page on Barbarea vulgaris)
It is a member of the Brassicaceae, previously known as the Cruciferae, the Mustard family or Cabbage family. The Icelandic name for this species is Garðableikja.
