My policy is to keep the number of links to a minimum - so the real quality pages are highlighted. The reason is that one can find infinite sites providing information on just about everything using the standard search engines. So I largely limit entries on two basic principles: are the potential site's I could link to relevant to the nature of Iceland - or are sites a general opening to further inquiries into subjects like birding, botany, landscape photography? Some links to tourist information sites are given too, but only in limited numbers.
I have also excluded private stories of tourists about traveling in Iceland. There are so many of them that I can not do justice to one and leave out others. However, addresses of some sites that do refer to personal experiences traveling through Iceland may be found in the "General links pages".
